10-1 is a division of Film Buddy Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (“we”, “our”, “us”).

10-1 is designed to provide industry-fed advice, curated voice notes (“VN”), and AI-powered tools to support emerging talent in the creative industries as they transition into employment.

2. What We Do (and What We Don’t)

  • 10-1 provides information, advice, and curated insights for career development.

  • We deliver Voice Note drops from industry professionals, as well as AI-powered tools (“the bot”) to help users access fast, relevant content.

  • We also offer mentoring sessions with experienced professionals.

However:

  • We do not guarantee employment, work experience, or placements.

  • We do not provide legal, financial, or medical/mental health advice.

  • All advice (from the bot, VNs, or mentoring sessions) is general information only and must not be relied upon as professional or legal advice.

  • 3. Liability Disclaimer

  • 10-1 and Film Buddy Ltd accept no liability for any direct, indirect, or consequential loss arising from use of our services, including (but not limited to): missed opportunities, unsuccessful job applications, or reliance on advice provided.

  • Use of the AI bot is entirely at the user’s own risk. The bot is designed to provide guidance and resources but cannot replace professional judgement.

  • Mentoring sessions are advisory only. Mentors speak from personal industry experience and Film Buddy Ltd accepts no liability for outcomes based on this advice.

  • All content is provided “as is”, with no guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or suitability.

4. User Responsibilities

By using 10-1, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate information when registering.

  • Not misuse or share private links, resources, or restricted content.

  • Respect that all advice, VNs, and mentoring sessions are for personal, non-commercial use only.

  • Accept full responsibility for decisions you make based on 10-1 content.

5. Data Protection & Privacy (GDPR)

  • 10-1 complies with the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

  • We collect and process personal data (such as name, email, and career interests) solely for the purpose of providing services.
